I took the role of 1st year undergraduate tutor in early 2006 and continued until mid 2011. During this time I managed year groups of between 45 and 70 students. Designed, prepared and taught course units in a variety of photographic disciplines and conceptual areas. Coordinated with staff in the department and throughout the university to deliver course content. Gave students critical feedback, creative and pastoral support. Organised numerous student trips, gallery and studio visits.
I believe I helped build a positive environment for students to work and enthused them to create photographs.
